Describe the impact the Winslow Participant’s Report has had on you so far.

Let me preface by saying that I think I’m generally receptive to feedback. That being said, I found the report to be challenging. In reading, I sorted the text into three categories by color: agree, disagree, and maybe/too extreme. I’m estimating 20% agree, 20% too extreme, and 60% disagree. After five pages of reading, I found myself getting both discouraged and frustrated by it. Perhaps this was because I was hopeful for the assessment to seem more fitting.

The Winslow has had little impact so far. I begin to revisit and think through the implications but find it difficult given the report.

Trait #1Alertness
My Score8
Why?

Alertness - 8 - I am able to learn fairly quickly, allowing me to comprehend the scenario and make intentional decisions.

Trait #2Boldness
My Score8
Why?

Boldness - 8 - I am willing to try new things and function semi-sell in unfamiliar environments. I am also willing to accept challenges.

Trait #3Responsibility
My Score8
Why?

Responsibility - 8 - I am reliable/responsible to complete my work well and on-time. However, I am also self-critical (which pushes me to do more/be better). I am not very defensive when receiving constructive criticism.

TRAITS THAT ARE PREVENTING MY PRODUCTIVE BEHAVIORS
(3) Winslow traits restraining them from achieving success.Select up to three (3) Winslow traits in your Participant's Report that seem to be restraining you the most from achieving personal or professional success.
Trait #1Recognition
My Score9
Why?

Recognition - 9 - Since I do not desire to draw undesirable attention to myself, I am prone to higher levels of control with some individuals. I am more prone to put on a “mask” rather than be who the Lord has made me to be.

Trait #2Self-confidence
My Score3
Why?

Self-confidence - 3 - I tend to be insecure and uncertain about my abilities. This makes me less assertive or bold at times.

Trait #3Contentment
My Score3
Why?

Contentment - 3 - I am not very fulfilled in my current career. I have little motivation and find minimal joy in my work. This impacts the amount of energy I put into my career. I am less likely to try new things and go above and beyond.

Discuss if I need to retake the test, either now or in a season when I am more content/happy. (The test was pretty clear about not being tired or in a poor mood when taking the test).

I’d like to see the descriptions for other levels for all but “contentment,” “composure,” “coachability,” and maybe “leadership,” which seem accurate.

Strengths and Weaknesses Based on Interpersonal Feedback (vocab drawn from page 37/38)

Strengths
Creativity - inquisitive and curious - looking for ways of improving
Autonomy - independent, self-reliant, self-governing
Sociability - friendly and warm with people
Coachability

Weaknesses
Self-confidence/recognition - tend to be insecure and also do things for the sake of “good work” and reputation rather than joyful service to the Lord
Endurance/control - high standard for myself and work that I will do everything I can to fulfill
Leadership - don’t want to be the #1 (okay with #2)
Resilience - a little less tough-minded and more emotional in this season (slight depressive symptoms)
