Describe the impact the Winslow Participant’s Report has had on you so far.

It has raised my self-awareness in some areas while giving me other things to think about. The score that I found most intriguing is my ambition score being a 3; Most would describe me as an ambitious person but I don't think I disagree with the report. It has been an effective tool so far as I have read through it.

Why?

I believe this trait allows me to set direction and establish values for those I lead. When partnered with my coachability it also allows me to take responsibility for what I do wrong in a way that keeps the team a safe environment.

Why?

I think my skill here in my position allows our team and our campus to feel more like a family because people feel seen and known by their campus pastor.

Why?

The nature of the role of a CP at summit is knowing how to be creative with the autonomy given to best improve your campus. I think my score here, represents some of the creative steps we have taken at times as a campus to become who we want to be.

Why?

I believe this would be my biggest hindrance if I didn't hire around it. Left to my own, my trust in intuition and reliance on flexibility can be disorienting for those I lead at times. This is especially true for those who highly value order.

Why?

I don't think this limits me in my current role as it is very collaborative by nature. It does limit me from what most would think is my next step (church planting). This is one of the scores I have wrestled with the most.

Why?

This limits me in my ability to delegate at times, because I don't always trust those I delegate to. Another way it can create problems is when not careful it can lead me to paint poor pictures of leadership decisions above me.

I think I'd love to know if this reveals I'm a good fit as a Campus Pastor as well as understanding what does this role say about my future in ministry as well.
