Describe the impact the Winslow Participant’s Report has had on you so far.

For the most part my scores were as I anticipated, however a few scores immediately stood out to me:
I was especially surprised to score high in boldness—I do not think of myself as a particularly bold person. However, I do agree that I "willingly take risks to accomplish my objectives" and have (especially later in life) been able to "face grueling emotional situations" with less fatigue. Scoring high here allowed me to consider this an attribute that I would have otherwise assumed I was missing.
I was honestly embarrassed (and somewhat offended) to score high in both exhibition and recognition, seeing these descriptions as selfish or self-pleasing. However, after more consideration, I can see these attributes in my life, and it was interesting to think how they could be/have been used as a positive strength.

Why?

I do not need to compete with or be seen as "better" than another to feel good about what I am doing, which allows me to partner well with others (which only makes for better and more effective results in what we are creating/pursuing).

Why?

When I feel like responsibility rests solely on me, I can easily get overwhelmed, discouraged, or stuck. (But I have learned that I take great encouragement in partnership with others and it is effective in climbing out of that hole.)

For the same reasons listed in responsibility—I think my lack of autonomy may inhibit (or slow) my ability to make hard decisions in isolation.

I think I can make commitments without fully examining (or perceiving) the cost, over-extending myself.

Mainly, understanding my strengths and weaknesses as it relates to my career role, learning what type of role(s) would be most sustainable in light of my strengths and weaknesses and in which I would be most effective.
