Describe the impact the Winslow Participant’s Report has had on you so far.

It was a great exercise to help generate a different perspective for opportunity areas to further development, and also to enhance my stronger characteristics. This report also has helped identify drivers for motivation. I have reviewed it during harder moments to help myself understand deeper internal dynamics.

Why?

This has helped me re-affirm that I am highly creative. In turn, has given me a foundation to trust my instincts and the creative paths I can use to resolve issues, and or develop better business dynamics and push the needle forward for the company.

Why?

Leadership is a foundational pillar to upper management and senior leadership roles and responsibilities. I have always felt like a leader on the inside, and it has always been second nature for me. Understanding this as one of my higher strengths has given me added confidence that I am where I belong, and have the basic skillsets to accomplish larger leadership roles.

Why?

As I have seasoned at 51 yeas of age, I have come to realize how valuable composure is in business and in interpersonal relationships. It is an excellent tool that benefits not only myself, but my employees, co-workers and the organization itself. Understanding my strength in composure is vital to developing better problem solving skills and de-escalation tactics.

Why?

I have always viewed myself as pragmatic and logical. Realizing now with the help of these results, some of that is driven off of lack of trust. Now when I feel a lack of trust or concern in that area, I slow down and rationalize it out for myself. This gives me a moment to create a deeper understanding and identify where the trust issue is, and why.

Why?

This score I completely disagree with. I am a very motivated and driven person. However, my own personal motto is that there is always truth in what someone says or describes about you, an event, a situation etc. It may be 1% or it may be 100%. Either way, there is always truth to discover in others perspective of you. Even a personality assessment test. So, I have used it as motivation from time to time. I have also used it as a measurement tool for when I do want to pull back a little on effort, or do not want to stay that extra 30 minutes or an hour. It has become a little bit of a driver for me.

Why?

I have come to realize that my perspective of my coachability for my senior leaders, is much lower than I personally believe or have come to understand. I feel as though my coachability would be an 8-10 range. The fact that it was not, clued me into the skew of my perception versus others perspective. How I may come off or be perceived when I ask for coaching and push back, or disagree etc. I have begun to use this as a tool to help develop and open my perspectives on business topics and situations.

Describe your goals for the Profile Review and/or upcoming coaching experience. For example, you may describe personal relationships that you want to improve, behavioral changes you want to make, or discovering how to position yourself for career advancement.

My goals are to take outside advice/counsel and perspective to develop and grow my skill sets, and to improve my opportunity areas. This will enhance my over all ability to grow in an organization, and to potentially open doors to career development and enhancement of roles and responsibilities. I am also looking forward to the personal journey and to use this as a chance to improve as a human being in this world. Not too often people get chances and attention, as well as coaching at this level. I am very excited, and feel very fortunate to participate.
