Describe the impact the Winslow Participant’s Report has had on you so far.

I think it has helped me recognize some "blind spots" and places needed for improvement if I want to excel in this industry.

Why?

I believe this to be true, and have always considered myself ambitious. This started back when I was an athlete playing at the little league level up to when I was playing professional baseball. I have always had the desire to succeed, and that intrinsic feeling is like no other when you do.

Why?

Don't get me wrong I do enjoy independence at times and "laying low" but I do love being social with friends and family or even strangers in this industry of retail. I feel I do well in social settings.

Why?

I feel while at the store I try to remain in the "know" in all of the different departments, and I believe that to be true the the activities that require concentration and mental alertness do stimulate me.

Why?

Humble, and nice guys aren't always the ones who win. I believe my score should be higher than 1, but I do agree with some of what it says. I do not speak out enough, and may "sit back" a little too much.

Why?

I have always been one to lead more by example, but that can only go so far here at the dealership. I believe this and my assertiveness score are certainly connected. I think there is "more leader" in me waiting to come out.

Why?

More practical, but I do have a creative side. Sometimes you hold in those ideas, and they just go away. In the past I have been told I ask a lot of questions, so this score may be a little low, but I do think I can improve my creativity.

Describe your goals for the Profile Review and/or upcoming coaching experience. For example, you may describe personal relationships that you want to improve, behavioral changes you want to make, or discovering how to position yourself for career advancement.

I am going to enjoy speaking with Eric who was also the son of a dealer. Finding your identity in an organization that employs over 100 people. Succession planning. Is the stress worth it? Can we afford it? What does the future look like in the automotive retail space?
