It has raised my self-awareness in some areas while giving me other things to think about. The score that I found most intriguing is my ambition score being a 3; Most would describe me as an ambitious person but I don't think I disagree with the report. It has been an effective tool so far as I have read through it.

I believe this trait allows me to set direction and establish values for those I lead. When partnered with my coachability it also allows me to take responsibility for what I do wrong in a way that keeps the team a safe environment.

For the most part my scores were as I anticipated, however a few scores immediately stood out to me:
I was especially surprised to score high in boldness—I do not think of myself as a particularly bold person. However, I do agree that I "willingly take risks to accomplish my objectives" and have (especially later in life) been able to "face grueling emotional situations" with less fatigue. Scoring high here allowed me to consider this an attribute that I would have otherwise assumed I was missing.
I was honestly embarrassed (and somewhat offended) to score high in both exhibition and recognition, seeing these descriptions as selfish or self-pleasing. However, after more consideration, I can see these attributes in my life, and it was interesting to think how they could be/have been used as a positive strength.

I think I take the integrity and the greater good drives what (and how) I choose to put my efforts toward, making meaningful work and contributions.

The way I would described the impact the Winslow Report has had on me would be bitter-sweet. The reason I say this is because after reading all the descriptions of the traits that I rated low in, I realized how much work I need to do in order to be successful. It also seems like in some of the descriptions it makes assumptions that are not true about me. For example, I rate low for Structure, in the description it says that I may be frequently late to appointments i make, thats not true.
I have to say that out of all the personality test I have taken this one is the one i answered to most objectively. So as a result, I believe the information will me more reliable and accurate in most cases.

PendingSelect up to three (3) Winslow traits in your Participant's Report that are contributing the most to your personal and/or professional success.Responsibility9

I take resposibility for my actions. If i make a mistake I acknowledge it and ask for forgiveness. I accept constructive criticism and try to improve in that area.

It has been very intriguing and thought-provoking to read through my Winslow report and assess where I've seen my scores on certain traits play out in my life. While some of the scores I wholeheartedly agree with and think accurately represent me and my personality at most points in my life, I also have questions or doubts on other scores or parts of the assessment where I feel like I may act that way only in certain situations or not at all. I'm interested to complete my Personality Debrief to gain a better understanding of my scores in certain areas and how they can affect me in my personal life and career.

PendingSelect up to three (3) Winslow traits in your Participant's Report that are contributing the most to your personal and/or professional success.Nurturance7

My career is primarily based around assessing and caring for the needs of those around me and being able to act accordingly based on what those people may need in a given moment. Therefore, I feel as if my high level of nurturance helps me greatly in being able to do my job effectively. Additionally, I feel as if this benefits me in my personal life and relationships with others as I have a high degree of wanting to care for those who are potentially going through a hard time and/or supporting the people in my life in any way I can.

It is affirming to see that certain traits like Structure and Order are integral to my thought processes. I can tell you that when these things are absent in my life I lose direction and motivation.

Lacking Ambition as a Dedication Trait is enlightening, as I’ve always considered myself as and been considered an ambitious person. The Defining Adjectives in that section I don’t think are accurate, but I also understand that I am in a bit of a “self discovery” phase right now as I search for a new career so I imagine current mental focus might have skewed those results. I’m In sales. And ambition is one of the traits that made me so successful so quickly. However, it is true that my intrinsic motivations for myself are very much self determined and generally untethered to “traditional” notions of “success.”

I like to see that that my Organizational Traits are well balanced between structured attention and creative problem solving. That’s how I read it.

I am unsurprised by my Self Control Traits and would like to see some of those improve. Interestingly enough though, my lack of composure and control I have found to be something that people often consider “trust building” expressions of myself, as they display authenticity and bulnerabiloty (two things that build credibility, when metered appropriately).

All of the results are encouraging.

My ability to analyze complex situations including people, problems and potential solutions provides me the ability to take a broad problem and provide a simple, considerate solution.

PendingSelect up to three (3) Winslow traits in your Participant's Report that are contributing the most to your personal and/or professional success.Composure10

I firmly believe that maintaining composure has enabled me to make effective decisions in my career. When I worked on the service drive at Nissan, I often found myself in stressful situations involving customers and our organization. During these times, my goal was to retain loyal customers while also upholding the organization's integrity.

Let me preface by saying that I think I’m generally receptive to feedback. That being said, I found the report to be challenging. In reading, I sorted the text into three categories by color: agree, disagree, and maybe/too extreme. I’m estimating 20% agree, 20% too extreme, and 60% disagree. After five pages of reading, I found myself getting both discouraged and frustrated by it. Perhaps this was because I was hopeful for the assessment to seem more fitting.

The Winslow has had little impact so far. I begin to revisit and think through the implications but find it difficult given the report.

Being aware of situations, both procedural /systematic along with personal interactions between staff goes along way in understanding what benefits and repercussions may occur from certain situations and allow you to get the best out of people. Controlled empathy goes along with being conscientious and will assist in developing a team culture stronger than just required minimum duty.

I have always felt I am above average in taking in information from the world around me and assimilating and responding to it in a way that others might not be able to. I gravitate toward complicated gaps in the world that need attention or complex problems in the world that need to be solved. I get a high degree of energy from entering into high challenge situations.

Honestly, I've been a bit discouraged by it. We've had a lot of hard things going on currently. Reading it made me realize why some of these hard things impact me so deeply. A couple of categories seem off. I do not think I am high in exhibition but I scored very high there. A couple of other categories seem lower than they probably should be. But overall there are many things that I believe are true about my personality and tendencies.

• Having regular performance appraisals at a very senior level and participating in development centres with 360 deg feedback, I am aware of most of my strengths and weaknesses.
• I sort feedback from family, previous managers that remain mentors, one of my current reports and providers I worked with. My wife and daughter are very comfortable providing feedback and we had recently completed a personality survey my daughter had found online and we discussed each other’s results together. I value the feedback of others while often it is not what you would like to hear.
• Coming into this role of which I was very new too at the time of completing this questionnaire, I had evaluated my performance from my previous roles including my own business. I planned what I wanted to achieve in my 1st 100-day plan and in line with the projects David wanted me involved in. Receiving the results from the Winslow, I was able to reflect and consider this in my next 100 days. I received constructive feedback from David in my performance evaluation in August. My overall ratings were higher than I expected, I was appreciative of the effort to do this from David and the feedback. We are initiating a lot of new processes at a fast pace to engage the business and improve communication. I took away learnings from the discussion. In the past I have pushed and lead differently by managers with questionable motivations that suit themselves.

We have a diverse group of managers and I have a strong drive to achieve results for the business, the team and the customers. I have sort input from others where I feel necessary, taking into consideration the level and the medium of communication for each task, while holding myself accountable for my work and timelines.

I also took the time to discuss performance with my team and ask for feedback during the review process.

Continuous improvement by priority for the business, the customer and the team. Nurturing a team begins with good communication and a common vision. I do find it easy to seek out and involve others with the skills or knowledge to assist or lead areas of projects and I am not afraid to ask for help. We have a very diverse and complicated business. Recognising them for their efforts is important.

Other traits like self-confidence, leadership, structure, order, creativity, flexibility and composure all support me to achieve results for a business and with friends and family.
